Plagiarism Policy
Journal of Nutrition Explorations is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and ethical publishing. All manuscripts submitted to the journal must be original and free from plagiarism.
Plagiarism occurs when an author presents another person's work, ideas, data, or words as their own without proper acknowledgment. This includes copying text, ideas, images, or data from other sources without appropriate citation.
Plagiarism Screening
All submitted manuscripts will be screened for plagiarism using reliable plagiarism detection software before they are sent for peer review. The editorial team carefully examines the similarity report to ensure the originality of the manuscript.
Manuscripts with a high level of similarity or evidence of plagiarism will be rejected immediately or returned to the authors for correction.
Acceptable Similarity Index
To ensure originality, the similarity index should generally not exceed 20%, excluding references, quotations, and commonly used phrases. Any single source similarity should also remain within acceptable limits.
The editorial board reserves the right to determine whether the similarity level is acceptable based on the context of the manuscript.
